Asynchronous Progress in MPICH2

Description

There have been a bunch of requests for asynchronous progress capability in MPICH2. This ticket is a place-holder for such capability. A simple version of this would create a thread at MPI_Init time which will wait on a request that will only complete at MPI_Finalize time. This request will be created internally.

The above described implementation has been added into the MPICH2 trunk in r5694 and r5695. Resolving.
