I just put a new version of the validator in ~desai that should shed some light on the problem. Could you try running it?

There is an underlying problem with libxml2 I think. The bcfg2 side is fixed in revision [cac723242e95d58a8ba7e07d3c7fd523570fb18b] (SVN r1726).
