This was fixed in [8b6165750d99fef457b5c55364cdd9398230b09f] (SVN r1971) This change will be included in the 0.8.2 release, which will be out shortly.
Incidentally, the format of multiarch package entries will be slightly changed in the final version. See the transition guide for details. (it basically uses more flexible format strings in package names)
