client lockfile error: Failed to open lockfile

Description

I just installed bcfg2 on opensolaris and was getting the following error:

Failed to open lockfile

Bcfg2 still runs and operates correctly. It turns out that I didn't have a "/var/lock" directory. Creating the directory resolved the issue.

Can bcfg2 present a better error message of where its trying to write its lockfile? Or perhaps a lockfile option in /etc/bcfg2.conf for the future

Thanks, Ed
