We are happy announce the release of Bcfg2 1.3.1. It is available for download at:

1.3.1 is a bug fix release that primarily addresses several bugs discovered in the utilities for upgrading from Bcfg2 1.2.x.

New features and bug fixes include:

• Yum groups are now supported without the native yum libraries in use.
• Better support for client passwords with special characters (especially @ and /) in them
• Error messages improved in several places
• Much better coverage for migrate_perms_to_mode.py (SSLCA, SSHbase, #1146, nested tags)
• Fixed import in migrate_info.py
• bcfg2-admin init bugs fixed (#1145, creation of repo directory in certain cases, enabling of all plugins by default)
• Workaround for #1140
• Debian packaging fixes for the new reporting system
• Fixed infinite loop condition with a misnamed Path entry
• Fixed some layout issues on the web interface
• Documentation improvements
